The event took place on November 22nd, the day of Santa Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians, in the Sala Margherita in Tarcento, Udine, Italy.

Admission was free of charge, thanks to the patronage of the Municipality of Tricesimo and the support of Pigini and Bugari Armando, manufacturers of bellows instruments among the most renowned in the world.

Sharing the stage with the international guests was the Flocco Fiori ensemble of the Gruppo Fisarmonicisti association, an accordion orchestra led by accordionist and composer, teacher and artistic director of the event, Massimo Pividori.

The group was founded in 2007 in honour of the great Friulian accordionist Belfiore Flocco (1927-2002), stage name Flocco Fiori, internationally renowned concert performer and illustrious teacher who, after many years dedicated to concerts and competitions, wanted to create a new generation of accordionists who well represent his style and technique.

The Ensemble has performed several concerts in Italy and abroad, and its repertoire ranges from transcriptions of classical composers such as Vivaldi, Pachelbel and Brahms, to Morricone, Piazzolla, Bernstein and original compositions.
