The 12th International Competition for Diatonic Accordion (Styrian type) world championships will be held at Terme Olimia, Slovenia from May 13th to 16th, 2021 organised by the HVO – Harmonica Verband Osterreichs (Accordion & Harmonica Association of Austria).

The HVO have organised this event since 1999 as a biyearly competition which is an important event for the origin of the Austrian and Slovenian instrument.

Large numbers of entries are received in the two age group categories (14-18 years and 19-32 years) from different countries.

Competition rules will be available online from October 2020 with entry registrations from January 2021.
