The 1st Akademia Inspiracji (Academy of Inspiration), which will include courses and concerts for a variety of instruments including accordion, will be held in Niepolomice, Poland from August 21st to 25th, 2024. The artistic director of the event is Dr. Barbara Borowicz-Saldan.

Accordionist Wieslaw Ochwat (Poland – picture right) will run the accordion classes at the event, whch will include solo instrument lectures and group lectures and concerts.

The aim of the Academy of Inspiration is:
• raising the level of playing musical instruments among young people through contact with a wide range of outstanding soloists and teachers from Poland and abroad,
• enriching and developing practical skills in the field of individual and team play,
• enabling the presentation of talented young people’s skills to a wide audience during concerts organized in the Malopolska Region.

The deadline for accepting applications is June 30th, 2024.
