The Prospectus (Rules and Regulations) for the 2014 South Pacific Accordion Championships & Festival, to be held in Auckland on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June 201, are now available: 2014 NZ Prospectus
For 2014, the rules for the international categories closely follow the rules of the Coupe Mondiale. The South Pacific international concert music category has exactly the same rules as the Coupe Mondiale Masters category and the South Pacific entertainment category has exactly the same rules as the Coupe Mondiale Virtuoso Entertainment category. Junior (under 18years) South Pacific categories require the first round of the Coupe Mondiale Junior concert and entertainment categories.
These rules are to encourage international participation. Entry closing date is 20th April 2014.
NZAA President Sonja Palinich (picture left) writes: “The NZAA is delighted to have Mirco Patarini (picture left) from Italy as guest artist and to once again have the use of the Raye Feedman Arts Centre, a venue which is ideally suited with excellent facilities all under one roof”
