

The 69th Coupe Mondiale will take place in Rostov-on-Don, 11 to 17 September 2016 hosted by the CIA member, the International Music Centre “Harmony”.

The 2016 Coupe Mondiale features:
– An event held in the three prestigious big halls of the city with excellent acoustics and lighting;
– Seven concerts in the cities best locations;
– Leading Russian soloists and ensembles, symphonic, jazz and folk orchestras and a combined orchestra of accordionists;
– Finest young accordionists from around the world competing for 8 titles of different types and styles of music;
– Final concert in the main city square where an audience of approximately 100,000 will listen to the 2016 Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Champion.
Rostov-on-Don is the largest city in the South of Russia, the region has major educational facilities and is a cultural center that is often called the “capital of the accordion”. Travel to Rostov-on-Don is easy with an international airport close to the city.
