The 2025 “Accordiomania” International Accordion Festival was held in Pleven, Bulgaria from June 26th to 29th, 2025.

The event featured an opening concert at the Katya Popova Hall in Pleven. Performers included accordion soloists Iñaki Alberdi (Spain) and Todor Mijajlovic (Serbia) together with the Shumen Symphony Orchestra conducted by Georgi Miltiyadov.

Their program included Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires”, and two premieres in Bulgaria – Concerto for bayan and string orchestra (Igor Shamo) and Bidaia (Federico Jusid).

The 2nd evening concert on June 27th, featured performances by soloists Yuri Shiskin (Russia) and Todor Miyailovich (Serbia)

A final gala concert was held on June 28th, which featured winners of the National and International Competition “Accordomania”.

Two Grand Prix winners received the same number of points:
Teodor Marinov (Bulgaria) and
Marec Pricopneac (Moldova)

The award was presented by Iñaki Alberdi.
