The fourth annual World Concertina Day, sponsored by the International Concertina Association (ICA), will be held on February 6th, 2025, the anniversary of the birth of Sir Charles Wheatstone.

Groups and individual players around the world are encouraged to put on their own concertina-related events, as has happened on previous World Concertina Days. The ICA itself plans to put together another of their annual international video concerts and to organize another participatory online event, as they did for World Concertina Day 2024.

World Concertina Day brings together people all over the world to celebrate our wonderful musical instrument and to raise awareness of the concertina with the general public and media. The first World Concertina Day was in 2022, which was also the 70th anniversary of the ICA’s founding.
