On Saturday morning, 27th September, six finalists were on stage for an exciting Round III of the 87th Coupe Mondiale category.

The Coupe Mondiale Round III six finalists in draw playing order were:
Emanuele Viti (Italy)
Vitor Pastor (Portugal)
Ruslan Kochkin (Russian Federation)
Alexy Loganov (Russian Federation)
Konstantin Ryabin (Russian Federation)
Alexey Mykitenko (Russian Federation).

Konstantin Ryabin (Russian Federation) won the 2025 Coupe Mondiale. It was very very close marks for the 6 finalists making for a very exciting prize giving announcement of the results in the later afternoon. Until that prize giving moment, only the CIA points auditors knew the result that was so eagerly awaited by everyone. The jury rules do not allow talking amongst the jury so you can imagine, the jury members were all eagerly wanting to learn the results too!

6th Emanuele Viti (Italy) 23.44 marks.


Note that only half a mark separated the top 6 for a very memorable close competition.

Every video of the Coupe Mondiale competition categories is being put online on the Accordions Worldwide channel (www.youtube.com/@musicforaccordion) with a playlist for each category and round.

The winners of each category performed for the Winners Concert Saturday evening to close the 87th Coupe Mondiale Competition and Festival with very strong applause from the very appreciative audience.

The 2025 Coupe Mondiale was expertly hosted by the CIA member, East Sarajevo Academy of Music, University of East Sarajevo led by Maja Žuža and supported by Head of the Accordion Department Danijela Gazdić plus a team of exceptional volunteers. The 87th Coupe Mondiale ran most efficiently from 23-27 September, using facilities close to the East Sarajevo Academy of Music, University of East Sarajevo, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
