The 2026 Chester Folk Festival will be held in Chester, Cheshire, England from May 22nd to 25th, 2026 and will include a variety of concerts, dancing, workshops, ceilidhs, displays and children’s entertainment.

In 2025, the Chester Folk Festival proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary.

This year’s event organisers have plans for a “wonderful weekend of music, dancing, workshops and more. Lots of free fringe events too.”
