The 2026 Folefest Festival will be held in Portugal this month organised by the Folefest Association.

Polish accordionist Maciej Frackiewicz will perform concerts at the festival in Alves (February 12th), Castelo Branco (February 13th) and Lisbon (February 14th).

The Lisbon concert will feature a program dedicated to Polish music, featuring works by Bogdan Precz, Bartłomiej Pękiel, Norbert Palej, Witold Lutosławski, Marcin Bortnowski and the world premiere of “Stained Glass”, a new piece written especially for Frackiewicz by Aleksander Dębicz.

On February 16th and 17th Frackiewicz will hold an accordion Master-Class at the National Conservatory (Marquês de Pombal Secondary School – Cenjor 1) for students from the Lisbon Conservatory.
