“The attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of accordion players in the world is an event that the whole of Slovenia is looking forward to with great excitement!”

All accordion players are cordially invited to the Slovenian Harmonica Festival of the Century – the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest number of players in one place.

The record attempt will take place on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, on the Velenjska Vista. All participants will play “Na Golici” together in the CFB atmosphere. The piece will be repeated three times to meet the Guinness criteria, which prescribe a playing time of between 5 and 10 minutes.

All types of accordion – diatonic, piano and chromatic – are eligible to participate, but they must be ready to play and functional.

The goal is to gather more than 5282 players, which was achieved in Tacheng, China on August 16th, 2025. See article link below.
