The 2026 Landes Musik Festival (State Music Festival) will be held in Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany on June 20th, 2026. “On the theme of Music and Health, the festival celebrates the diversity of amateur music and brings together people from across the region.”

For the first time, there will be a diverse supporting programme that shows how music is good for body and soul and how you can stay healthy while making music. Ensembles of all styles are invited to take part.

“The State Music Festival was launched in 1998 and has since developed into the largest festival for amateur music in Baden-Württemberg. Every year, choirs, music associations, bands, orchestras and other ensembles present themselves – a showcase of the country’s musical diversity.”

“From A for accordion to Z for zither, numerous ensembles will present all genres of amateur music in their impressive sounds on this day. Whether classical choral music, groovy pop, traditional brass music sound or modern brass sounds, deeply moving sounds meet rousing rhythms at the State Music Festival.”

“You can look forward to a wide variety of ensembles on a large number of stages, hands-on activities, children’s programs and a colorful supporting program for all age groups. Whether you make music yourself, just listen or want to celebrate with the whole family – there is something for everyone at the State Music Festival!”
