The 2026 UK West Coast Folk Festival, which features three days with three stages and 36 acts, will be held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens in Lancashire, England from January 23rd to 25th, 2026.

Performers include “Blackbeard’s Tea Party”: “Drums, electric guitars, fiddle, melodeon and 4-part vocal harmonies combine to create music that is drenched in tradition, but filtered through a kaleidoscope of modern rock and pop.”

The “Duncan McFarlane Band” which includes Steve Fairholme (melodeon), Duncan McFarlane (guitar), Nick Pepper (drums), Martin Ward (bass guitar), Anne Brivonese (violin) and Steve Foster (guitar). “Their heady blend of traditional folk and Duncan’s Trad-infused compositions, with driving rhythm and vibrant energy, has gone down a storm with festival audiences across the UK.”

“Hooliemen” features Paddy Heffron (accordion & vocals), Chris Dyson (violin & vocals), Richard Moss (guitar & vocals) and Brian Aylward (flute, uilleann pipes, whistle & vocals). They play a variety of traditional Irish music and Songs.
