The Portuguese Accordion Association will hold the 26th International Accordion Week “Alcobaça 2023” from May 20th to 28th, 2023 in Alcobaça, Portugal, organised by Aníbal Freire.

The event will include the 26th National Trophy, and the 7th International Accordion Competition “Alcobaça 2023” for accordion soloists and groups as well as a variety of concerts and masterclasses.

This year a new class has been added to the program: Contemporary XXI Category, which includes a Junior Contemporary Prize and a Senior Contemporary Prize both for the presentation of an original piece for accordion.
