A Musical Glimpse into the Future

It has become a wonderful tradition for the Accordion Festival to offer a platform to young accordionists – this year during the March 1st afternoon concert in the beautiful Ehrbar Hall. Numerous talented young musicians, who are learning the instrument through accordion lessons with Ingrid Eder, Bojana Foinidis, Brigitte Rieger, Daniel Stratznig, Adolf Wutscher, and Miloš Todorovski at the music schools of the City of Vienna, performed that afternoon.

The children and teenagers presented themselves as soloists, in chamber music ensembles, and as an accordion orchestra; they offered a diverse program ranging from early to contemporary music – tango, musette, pop, folk, film music…

Works by composers such as Bach, Scarlatti, Williams, Zimmer, Makkonen, Jekic, Mahr Bibić, and Solotarjow were performed. Particularly impressive were the performances of soloist Nikola Rupov, the Zieharmonie (Styrian harmonica, violin and bass clarinet) and the Hollywood Accordion Orchestra under Miloš Todorovski.

27. Internationales Akkordeonfestival Wien: Konzert junger Talente

Ein musikalischer Blick in die Zukunft

Nun ist es bereits eine schöne Tradition, dass das Akkordeonfestival jungen Akkordeonist:innen eine Bühne bietet – dieses Jahr im Zuge des Nachmittagskonzerts im wunderschönen Ehrbar Saal. Zahlreiche Talente, die das Instrument im Rahmen des Akkordeonunterrichts bei Ingrid Eder, Bojana Foinidis, Brigitte Rieger, Daniel Stratznig, Adolf Wutscher und Miloš Todorovski an den Musikschulen der Stadt Wien erlernen, waren an diesem Nachmittag zu hören.

Die Kinder und Jugendlichen präsentierten sich dabei als Solist:innen, in kammermusikalischen Besetzungen sowie als Akkordeonorchester; geboten wurde ein buntes Programm zwischen alter und neuer Musik – Tango, Musette, Pop, Folk, Filmmusik… interpretiert wurden u.a. Bach, Scarlatti, Williams, Zimmer, Makkonen, Jekic, Mahr Bibić und Solotarjow.

Besonders beeindruckend die Darbietungen des Solisten Nikola Rupov, der Zieharmonie (Steirische Harmonika, Geige und Bassklarinette) sowie des Hollywood Accordion Orchestra unter Miloš Todorovski.
