Okud Istra have announced their highly anticipated Accordion Summer Academy will return to Pula, Croatia for the 28th consecutive year. This renowned event, held from July 8th to 13th, 2024, brings together accordion enthusiasts from around the world for a week of immersive learning and musical exploration.

Accordionists of all levels will enjoy a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and broaden their musical horizons. Led by Mie Miki (professor for accordion and Vice-President at the Folkwang Universität der Künste Essen in Germany, and Honorary Professor at the Xinjian Arts College in China), Mateja Zenzerovic (accordion), Veli Kujala (accordion) and Miran Vaupotic (conducting / orchestra), participants will engage in intensive workshops, individual coaching sessions and ensemble performances while exploring various musical genres, from classical to contemporary.
