The 28th World Championship in Organetta and Diatonic Accordion 2026 will take place at the J. Kugy Cultural Centre Auditorium in Tarvisio, Italy from September 4th to 6th, 2026.

The competition brings together accordionists of all generations and nationalities who will compete in various categories of diatonic accordion, organetta and accordion plus.

“Visitors can expect top performances, the announcement of world champions and a rich accompanying programme of the Radici Festival. The organizers are also preparing special prizes for young talents and the best competitors.”

The event will conclude with the announcement of results and awarding of prizes.

Applications are open until July 20th, 2026.
