The 4th Annual Qathet Accordion Fest, directed by Karina Inkster and Walter Martella, will be held at the Powell River Academy of Music in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada on May 2nd and 3rd, 2025.

This year’s guest artists include Anthony Schulz, President of the Accordion Society of Australia, the Victoria Accordion Club Band and Ronen Segall from Vancouver Island.

The Opening Night/Main Concert will feature an album release as five of the Accordion Fest performers recorded a studio album recently, and it will be released at the Fest.

Workshops and events will include the popular Accordion 101 session for complete beginners, through to a brand new workshop on improvisation and how to practice it, there’s something for everyone as follows:

“Improvisation and How to Practise it” led by Anthony Schulz

The Accordion Cabaret closing party will be held at the Academy of Music so there will be space for a dance floor!
