The 53rd annual 2024 Northwest Folklife Festival will be held at the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington, USA from May 24th to 27th, 2024.

The event is a “community-powered celebration of the music, arts, and heritage of the Pacific Northwest, with over 4,000 performers on 20+ stages, 200 food/craft/import vendors, and 500 volunteers, the festival remains one of the largest access-for-all festivals in the nation since 1972”.

Accordion groups include “Chicken Feathers” (picture left), “Whozyamama” (Claudette Boudreaux on accordion), “Bayou Envie” (Mark Myking on accordion), “Smilin’ Scandinavians” (picture below), Jet Black Pearl Accordion Songstress, Owl Scarey (singer, songwriter & accordionist) and Învârtim (Balkan violin and accordion).
