The 8th edition of the International Accordion Festival (FIA 2026) will take place from November 9th to 14th, 2026 in Santiago, Chile, bringing together international artists and local musicians for a celebration of accordion music.

Organised by Fundación Entre Fuelles, the festival will feature activities across Santiago and neighbouring communities, including Recoleta, La Granja and Ñuñoa. The programme aims to showcase the accordion’s versatility, embracing traditional popular music alongside classical, contemporary and other musical styles.

The 2026 edition will welcome eight international guests, continuing the festival’s commitment to cultural exchange and strengthening Chile’s place on the international accordion scene. Concerts, masterclasses, interviews and other activities are planned, with free admission advertised for festival events, making the programme accessible to a broad audience.

The festival has grown steadily since its beginnings, developing into an important platform for performers, students and accordion enthusiasts. Previous editions have combined concerts with workshops, masterclasses and opportunities for musicians to meet and share their experiences.

By bringing together artists from different countries and musical backgrounds, FIA 2026 will celebrate the accordion as an instrument capable of crossing cultural boundaries and connecting generations.

With its programme spread across several venues, the festival promises a lively week of musical discovery and collaboration for audiences in Chile and beyond.
