95 Players, Orchestre d’Accordéon de la Suisse Francophone Tour – China

On the 9th April, the Orchestre d’Accordéon de la Suisse Francophone directed by Lionel Chapuis, consisting of 95 members flew to China for a concert tour.

The tour started with Two Concerts (picture above) in Shanghai. Next the orchestra visited Xian City, viewed the Terracotta soldiers and met with teachers of the accordion plus a concert in the Philarmonic Hall of Xian.

The next stop was Beijing and a visit to the Central Conservatory, Prof. Cao and a concert at the music conservatory.

Beijing also included a concert at the Swiss Embassy and a final concert at the Great Wall.
