The annual ‘Italia Award’ competition (open only to Italian entrants), is part of the 9th Accordion Art Festival (Concorso Fisarmonica) taking place, June 20th and 21st in Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE) – Italy.

The Artistic Director (event) is Renzo Ruggieri (picture right), and the Artistic Director for the Orpheus Award is Gerlando Gatto.

This festival also includes the Italian qualification for the CMA Trophée Mondial, to be held this year from October 20th to 25th in Martigny, Switzerland.

The contest categories include:
– Students – categories for age for classical, virtuoso and diatonic.
– Concert artists categories junior & senior, for classical, virtuoso and diatonic.
– Groups, classical, jazz and world categories.
