Save the date for the 5th Annual Qathet Accordion Fest, held at the qathet Academy of Music in Powell Rover, British Columbia, Canada from May 1st to 3rd, 2026. An outdoor event will be held at Willingdon Beach on May 3rd, which will include a song circle, jam session, band performances and beach party.

The festival is directed by Walter Martella and Karina Inkster and will include a special Opening Night main concert featuring a wide variety of musical genres, special musical guests, co-directors Walter and Karina, a 5-piece tango band, jazz quartet, classical pieces, Klezmer, and more. Other festival performers include accordionists Anthony Schulz and Ronen Segall, guitarists Budge Schachte and Stephen Nikleva, bassist Boyd Norman, and percussionist Terry Martyniuk.

Further events include accordion repairs & sales by Tempo Trend, concerts, Accordion Cabaret with dancing, jam session, klezmer workshop led by Ronen Segall, open mic performances, Accordion 101 workshop, tango workshop and musch more.

Tickets will go on sale in March 2026.
