The 17th International Accordion Seminar Week will be held at the Landesakademie für musisch-kulturelle Bildung (State Academy for Musical and Cultural Education) in Ottweiler, Germany from July 24th to 31st, 2026, as part of the “Instrument of the Year 2026” event.

The seminar is organised by the Saarland Accordion Association and is aimed at music students, full-time and part-time teachers as well as advanced accordionists.

“It offers the opportunity to further develop musical skills at a high pedagogical and artistic level. The Saarland Accordion Association was able to attract renowned international teachers from universities for this purpose. In addition to proven content from traditional to contemporary music, a new workshop on “mental training” and stage fright management complements the program.”

A participant concert will be held on July 30th.
