The “Gemini Duo” which features accordionists Wanchen Zhao and Wanxu Zhao, will join forces with the Double Pipa Duo to present HERRRR: Presence in All Directions — a chamber music project created by four women, bringing together Chinese pipa and accordion.

For them, “it’s all about women showing up fully: on stage, across cultures, and in our own artistic voices.”
Two cultures.
Two accordions.
Two pipas.
Four women — present in all directions.
“We are creating a space where different sounds and backgrounds can exist side by side.”

Their program will feature traditional Chinese melodies and brand new music coming together on one stage, strong, clear, and full of character.
