The 38th International Accordion Festival takes place in Castelfidardo, Ancona, from September 20th to 22nd, and this year’s event also celebrates the 150th anniversary of the formation of the first accordion company there, founded by Paolo Soprani.

The festival includes a new special section, ‘AccordionVideo 2013’, for unpublished videos or videos published on the web that highlight accordion, produced by professionals or amateur video makers in the period January – July 2013.

The new category is sponsored by Italcinte, Director Beniamino Bugiolacchi.

The theme of the 5-minute video should be the role of the accordion in the music world and show business in general and videos must arrive by 30th August.
