Mythos classical accordion duo, Bjarke Mogensen and Rasmus Kjøller, were first prize winners of the Danish National Radio Chamber Music Competition 2011. They competed against some of Scandinavia’s most prominent young professional ensembles of woodwind quintets and piano trios, etc. Additionally they won the special prize for the best performance of contemporary music.

The two accordionists were playing large works and diverse repertoire. Their repertoire consisted of their own transcriptions of works by Stravinsky, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and others, to contemporary works specially written for them by young composers. Listeners are impressed by the orchestral sound they create.

One of the members of the duo has also collaborated in duo performances with the famous violinist Gidon Kremer.
