The 2026 Bari Accordion Festival will take place at the Statal Conservatorio of Music “N. Piccinni”, and Church of Santa Teresa dei Maschi, in Bari, Italy on October 24th and 25th, 2026. The event is organised by the AFI Italian Accordion Association, with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Bari – Department of Culture, and the Statal Conservatorio of Music “Niccolò Piccinni”.

The competition will include two main sections:
Classical accordion solo – a variety of age group categories
Chamber music with accordion – any type of ensemble with classical accordion and other instruments or voice

The competition jury will consist of Ivan Sverko (Croatia – President of jury), Gianni Fassetta, Tiziana Portoghese, Paolo Picchio and Massimo Santaniello.

Entries close on September 30th, 2026.
