
The Akkordeon Musik Preis 2027 will be held in Ettlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany from May 7th to 9th, 2027, organised by the Deutscher Harmonika Verband (DHV).
The Accordion Music Prize is the youth competition of the DHV and is open to instrumentalists up to the age of 27 with their first residence in Germany. You can participate with the instruments accordion, Styrian, diatonic harmonica and harmonica in different categories from solo to ensemble to orchestra. The Accordion Music Prize takes place every three years.
It is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 – State Competitions
In the state competitions, which take place nationwide, the participants for the final competition are determined. To qualify for Stage 2, a minimum of 31 points must be achieved in Stage 1. Phase 1 is open to all pupils, trainees, young professionals and students who are not in a musical vocational training (amateurs).
Phase 2 – Final Competition, May 7 – 9, Ettlingen
This phase is also open to school orchestras and youth orchestras, harmonica and Styrian harmonica players as well as professional instrumentalists. Music students, accordion teachers and accordionists with professional concert activities are considered professionals.
