Ksenija Sidorova will perform the concerto for accordion and orchestra, “Sublime Dreams of Living Machines” (by Dobrinka Tabakova) with the Dresdner Philharmonie conducted by Karem Hasan on October 10th, 2026 from 7pm. The concert will take place at the Kulturpalast, Konzertsaal in Dresden, Germany.

“The Tabakova concerto is particularly interesting because it was written for Sidorova. It was premiered in May 2025, and Sidorova has subsequently performed it internationally. The work explores the accordion as a kind of “machine with a soul,” combining its mechanical construction with the expressive, breath-like quality of its sound.”

The program will also include Symphony in D major, “Prague” (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) and Suite from the opera “The Cunning Little Vixen” (by Leoš Janáček).
