Ghenadie Rotari will give a free online concert entitled “The art of accordion transcription: Bach, Haydn and Grieg” on March 21st, 2021 at 6.30am UTC+13.

This concert includes music which was not originally intended for the accordion as it didn’t exist at the time. The sound possibilities of the modern concert accordion allows for a convincing transcription of the works, as well as enriching them through a colorful palette of timbres.

The concert programme consists of:
J. S. Bach – “French Suite in G major”
F. J. Haydn – “Sonata in G major”
E. Grieg – “Holberg Suite”
