Stas Venglevski is currently in South Africa on a concert tour. His first performance was a sold out solo concert on March 2nd as part of the “Old Nectar Concert” series in Jonkershoek Valley.

His well received program included The Flight of the Bumblebee, Bach’s Toccata & Fugue in D minor BWV 565, plus works by Scarlatti, Rachmaninoff, Liszt and others.

Stas will perform his next concert on March 8th, at the Odeion School of Music in Bloemfontein with the Free State Symphony Orchestra directed by Daniel Boico.

Their program will feature music “from Chabrier’s lively Habanera to Venglevski’s own Rondo-Fantasy, this night promises brilliance and passion.”

His final South African concert will be held in Cape Town.
