The “Wintersteps and Summer Skies” CD release concert will be held at the Royal Danish Academy of Music New Hall in Frederiksberg C, Denmark on March 10th, 2025 at 5pm, featuring accordionist Bjarke Mogensen and cellist Toke Møldrup.

The duo will present their new recording “Wintersteps and Summer Skies” at this release concert, which contains music from 1974-2024 by Simon Steen-Andersen, Ole Buck, Christian Winther Christensen, Svend Hvidtfeldt-Nielsen, Svend Nielsen, Per Nørgård, Karl Aage Rasmussen and Niels Rosing-Schow.

“The CD contains eight works spanning half a century of contemporary Danish classical music – from 1973 to 2024. With a repertoire that includes both world premieres and pieces written especially for the duo, the recording moves through both past and present compositional traditions.”

At the concert, the duo will play excerpts from the repertoire on the recording, and it will also be possible to buy a signed physical CD.

Admission is free of charge, but seats are limited.
