The 2025 InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA) are open to musicians worldwide across all genres and celebrate diversity and artistry with prizes designed to empower musicians from around the world.
Competition categories feature Original Music (songwriter/composer/performer) and Music Performance (artist, producer, or instrumentalist).
Finalists will be listed on the ICMA website by the end of July and also notified by email. Entrants who are chosen as Finalists will receive a high-quality ICMA Award Certificate signed and endorsed by the InterContinental Music Awards together with career-enhancing prizes such as:
- Promotion and exposure via the ICMA website, mailing list, and social media.
- Access to exclusive online sessions led by industry experts on “The Landscape of the Music Business” with professional insights and international opportunities.
- Inclusion in a diverse, multi-cultural community of like-minded artists working to elevate global music.

A feature of the event is the ICon Award, which is essentially the “Best in Show” Award and is chosen after careful consideration and debate among the judges.
The winner of the ICon Award will be revealed at the end of the Official ICMA Awards Ceremony Day, held approximately in August 2025.
