Accordionist Paolo Forte will present a creative masterclass as part of the project “Seeds / Higher Education for Young Promises” (Sementi / Alta Formazione per Giovani Promesse) in Dolegna del Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy from July 1st to 4th, 2025.

This is an activity that is proposed in a slightly different way from the traditional summer specialization courses, because part of the course includes the “Quivivo – Naturally Close Theater Festival”. “Quivivo” is a theatrical training experience led by Elisa Menon, founder and artistic director of the Fierascena theater company in Gorizia and surroundings.

Paolo Forte participants will be asked to acquire the tools that are the basis of a full expression of personal artistic identity, to study creativity as an element on which technical execution rests and to test, in practice, their ability to build and share an original artistic product with the public.

Therefore, the masterclass is not dedicated to the technical or interpretative improvement of existing musical pieces, but to the study and practice of composing new music, both written and improvised

At the end of the masterclass, participants will perform a concert within the Quivivo Festival.

The artistic materials produced will flow into a concert that will be performed for the festival audience on July 4th.

Participants must already be able to play the accordion and not be over 35 years of age.
