The Shrewsbury Folk Festival will take place from August 22nd to 25th, 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of folk and world music artists, workshops, and family-friendly activities.

This year’s event will feature “four open air and covered music stages, a dance tent for ceilidhs, workshops and shows. Dedicated festivals-in-a-festival keep the kids and teens busy with music, dance, crafts, circus skills, silent discos and much more. There’s also workshops and activities for adults from yoga, crafting and countryside walks to singarounds and music sessions for the adults too.”

Accordion performers include Alistair Anderson, Cajun Roosters, Demon Barbers (Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne), Firelight Trio, Frog on a Bike, Hoik, Lasair, Melrose Quartet, Oysterband, Hartwin Dhoore & Ross Grant Duo, Skerryvore, and The Henry Girls.
