The Kammerton Accordion Festival “is the highlight of our annual program and represents the very essence of what Kammerton is all about. The festival brings together young talents and professional musicians from all over the world, offering them a unique platform to showcase their art and creativity. Through concerts, performances, and interactive events, the festival creates a space for artistic exploration and cultural exchange.”
Program as follows:
October 2nd, 2025 at 7pm: Opening Concert “Imaginary Worlds” held at the Stockholm Concert Hall.
At this opening concert, the KAMMERTONensemble (made up of some of Sweden’s most promising young musicians) – meets the internationally acclaimed French accordionist Julien Beautemps, whose expressiveness and virtuosity open doors to entirely new musical landscapes. Together, they explore music’s power to build bridges between cultures, genres, and generations, and the possibility of bringing to life the imaginary worlds hidden within every note.
The concert’s title reflects its content, ranging from intimate sonorities and subtle nuances to powerful, energetic outbursts. In dialogue with the festival’s theme Images, sounds transform into pictures and pictures into sounds. The familiar takes on new contours, and the unexpected becomes a source of wonder.
The opening concert Imaginary Worlds sets the tone for the entire festival, where music creates meeting places for inspiration, creativity, and new perspectives.
October 4th, 2025 at 6pm: Gala Concert “A Gallery of Sounds” held at the Queen Silvia Concert Hall.
Performers are Radu Ratoi (Moldova – accordion), Sherivan Tutus (Turkey – artist-painter), Mirco Patarini (Italy – accordion), Sebastian Malmquist (percussion), Leo Florin (accordion), Luca Bello (Italy – accordion), Kammerton Festival Orchestra and the Skallsjo Summer Orchestra.
