Applications are now open for the Federal Accordion Orchestra (BuAkkO) 2026. DHV organisers are looking for committed players from all over Germany, advanced accordionists (from the age of 16) who would like to participate in a selected orchestra at the highest level. The project, under the direction of Stefan Hippe, offers intensive rehearsal phases, exchange with like-minded people and a top-class concert program.
The BuAkkO’s offer of participation is aimed at musicians who are either connected to the accordion full-time as music students, music teachers, soloists or conductors or who are sufficiently qualified to participate in such an ensemble as amateurs due to their ability to play at the highest level.
The following are planned:
First work phase: January 17th and 18th, 2026 in Mannheim.
