Mirco Patarini Elected to IMC Board
December 4th 2025
Kimmo Mattila Secretary General, Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA)

It is my great pleasure to share you some wonderful news: The 41st General Assembly of the International Music Council (IMC) is currently underway, and the new IMC Executive Board has just been elected today.
Our Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) President, Mirco Patarini, has been elected to the IMC Board for a two-year term. This is an important milestone for both the CIA and the accordion community. It is the first time that the CIA — an IMC member since 1975 — has had direct representation on the IMC Board.

Further Information from our Editor:
IMC is an NGO partner of UNESCO and is the world’s largest network of music organizations and institutions dedicated to the advancement of essential music rights for all people.
An important platform of the IMC is the IMC 5 Music Rights for musicians around the world which the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) supports and has adopted officially.
