“Accordionology” will celebrate World Accordion Day (WAD) at Waller’s Coffee Shop in Decatur, Georgia, USA on May 2nd, 2026, from 12 midday to 4pm.

The event will include accordion performances by Justin Thornburgh, Diane Marie, George Voorhees, Lisa Lancey, Jake Herzog, Mark Lamback, The Accordionology Duo which includes Kyle Turner (accordion) & Dan Coy (guitar) and more.

There will also be a raffle for a chance to win an awesome little Excelsior Accordiana accordion, along with its soft backpack carrying case, accordion Merch and Graphic Designs by Tato Alexander, a Mini Accordion Museum where you can see the inner workings and history of these unique instruments, an Open Jam Session, a Photo Wall where you can strike your best accordion pose, and food and drink.

Admission is free of charge.
