
Argentine accordionist and composer Alejandro Brittes is currently on his third U.S. tour.

July 11th at 7:30pm – The Wild Detectives in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas
July 14th at 7:30pm – Alejandro Brittes Trio and Wichita Symphony Orchestra String Quartet at Somewhere Works in Wichita, Kansas
July 17th at 7pm – Alejandro Brittes Trio and Ensemble Ibérica: “Chamamé: The Spirit of the South American Missions” at Atkins Auditorium of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri
Alejandro Brittes interprets chamamé, a music and dance genre forged of Baroque and Indigenous Guaraní influences in the Jesuit Missions of southern South America encompassing Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, etc. Chamamé has been declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
