Announcement of the Orpheus Award Winners 2010 – Italy

On July 25, 2010 in Pineto, Italy, were announced the Orpheus Awards for 2010. This is an annual award that involves music critics who vote for the best Italian accordion productions of the year in four different categories:
1. Classical, 2. Jazz, 3. World Music and 4. Award for Lifetime Career Achievement.

Furfaro Amedeo (Italy), Flavio Caprera (Italy), Alessandro Pierotti (Italy), Fabio Chimney (Italy), Guido Michelone (Italy), Antongiulio Zimarino (Italy), Kimmo Mattila (Finland), Ulrich Schmülling (Germany), Livio Bollani (Italy), Paolo Picchio (Italy), Matteo Piludu Vesa (Finland, Italy), Davide Fabrizi (Italy).

In January 2011 we will open registration (free) for the Orpheus Award 2011 which is open to all productions (CDs, DVDs, live concerts, digital distribution, auto-production) made in 2010 by Italian accordionists (also harmonica, bandoneon, melodica, organ).
