AOTANGO Quintet will perform a concert series this December celebrating International Tango Day in Auckland (Dec 6th), Palmerston North (Dec 9th) and Wellington (Dec 10th).

Presented in two parts, the evening will open with a concert programme of tango and world music and conclude with a milonga, open for dancers to dance tandas (sets) of tangos, milongas & waltzes.

AOTANGO features violinist Andrew Beer (Auckland Philharmonia Concertmaster), pianist Somi Kim (NZTrio), double bassist Gordon Hill (Auckland Philharmonia Section Principal), jazz guitarist Sam Swindells and world champion accordionist Grayson Masefield.

The Auckland event (December 6th) is free for children aged 18 and under and will feature Latin American food vendors offering cuisine from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. Guests can also enjoy a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
