Applications Open for the BuAkkO – Bundesakkordeonorchester 2025 – Germany

Applications are now open for the Bundesakkordeonorchester (BuAkkO) 2025.
The BuAkkO in the Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V., is a project orchestra for players aged 27 and over and offers you the chance to participate in an orchestra led by the renowned federal conductor Silke D’Inka.
First work phase:
18th and 19th January, 2025 in Mannheim – Rehearsals will take place on Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Second phase of work and premiere concert:
15th and 16th February, 2025 in Nuremberg – Rehearsals will take place on Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. Warm-up rehearsal on Sunday from 9.30 a.m. Concert in the Neues Museum at 11.15 a.m.
Additional rehearsal weekend:
17th and 18th May, 2025 in Mannheim – Rehearsals will take place on Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Another concert as part of the World Music Festival in Innsbruck
Gala concert on 30th May, 2025 in the Saal Tirol. Rehearsal on Thursday, 29th May, 2025 in the evening at approx 6 p.m. Concert on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at 20.00 hrs.
The programme includes:
Stefan Hippe: Toccata for D. (world premiere)
Ian Watson: The Kingdom (world premiere)
Igor Stravinsky: Firebird Suite (1919)
Further works will be announced in time for the first rehearsal phase.
