Cathy Day was presented with the Presidents Award from the Australian Accordion Teachers Association (AATA) on Sunday 27th September in Sydney. Cathy has been involved in Australian accordion activities for many years, and is one of the country’s most respected teachers. Cathy is a regular adjudicator at the annual AATA Australian Accordion Championships and more recently has been the musical director for the Funkordion Accordion Ensemble.
