Ben De Souza will begin his 2025 Spring Concerts with performances of works by Rossini and Palmeri in England as follows:

March 22nd at 7:30pm at the Clifton Cathedral in Bristol. Performance of “Petite Messe Solennelle” (Rossini) with the Bristol Cabot Choir.

March 29th at 7:30pm at the Pinner Parish Church in Pinner, London. Performance of “Misa a Buenos Aires” (Palmeri) with the Amici Chamber Choir.

“Argentinian composer Martin Palmeri’s “Misa a Buenos Aires” is a crossover of the Latin Mass text and nuevo tango inspired music. It is scored for choir, mezzo-soprano soloists, strings, piano and bandoneon/accordion. It was premiered in 1996 at the Avenida Theatre in Buenos Aires.”
