The Black Pencil ensemble, which includes accordionist Marko Kassl, can be seen twice on National TV this month as follows:

September 15th, 2024 at 10.30am on NPO2 Extra – Vrije Geluiden (Free Sounds). The group will play compositions written for the ensemble by Kate Moore (Heide Midzomer) and Roderik de Man (Fuerza Interior). September 20th, 2024 at 9.35pm on NPO3 – On Stage. At the request of the well-known Dutch pop band “NITS”, Black Pencil will perform a selection of works written for the ensemble with gamelan, including music by Iwan Gunawan. Broadcast from the main hall of TivoliVredenburg. Guests are percussionists Robbert van Hulzen and Renadi Santoso.
