The 4th “Blowzabella” Festival Weekend will be held from June 26th to 28th, 2026 at the Halsway National Centre for Folk Arts in Crowcombe, Somerset, England. The event will feature a weekend of workshops, sessions, concerts and dances.

Blowzabella includes Andy Cutting (accordion), Jo Freya (vocals, saxophones, clarinets, whistle), Paul James (vocals, border bagpipes, saxophones, whistle), David Shepherd (violin), Barn Stradling (bass guitar) and Jon Swayne (border bagpipes, saxophones).

The band compose their own music which is influenced by English and European traditional dance music. Many of the tunes they’ve composed are “standards” in the modern British/European folk repertoire.

Guest performers will be the Duo Vargoz which comprises of brothers Guillaume (harmonica) and Robin Vargoz (violin, viola and vocals). They showcase music and dance from the French Alps where they live.

All events take place in the Manor or on the Marquee Stage in the gardens.
