The Cafe Accordion Orchestra (CAO) will return to the Dakota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA on June 9th, 2025 from 7pm, to perform with special guest vocalist Prudence Johnson.

The group features Dan Newton (accordion and vocals), Eric Mohring (mandolin, fiddle and vocals), Brian Barnes (guitar and vocals), Erik Lillestol (bass), Joe Steinger (percussion) and Elizabeth Rowan (percussion).

Their program will include an “eclectic mix full of French flair, Latin heat and Bohemian attitude. The heart of the CAO repertoire is the romantic, gypsy-influenced valse-musette. The group complements the musettes with swing, ballads, tangos, cha-chas, rumbas, and cumbias to create a wonderfully varied show.”
