Duo Accosphere, which features accordionists Alena Budziňáková-Palus & Grzegorz Palus, have been nominated in three categories of the 2024 International Competition “Musical Eagles” (Międzynarodowy Konkurs “Muzyczne Orły”) as follows:

Category 1: Phonographic album: “Panta Rhei. Music for two accordions and orchestra” Polish Art Philharmonic & Duo Accosphere, album issued by Stowarzyszenie Polskich Muzyków Kameralistów thanks to the Musical Trace program

Category III: Pre-performance: “Panta Rhei Concerto” Bartosz Kowalski – kompozytor / composer for two accordions and orchestra, Polish Art Philharmonic & Duo Accosphere

Category V: Chamber ensemble

This is the third year in a row that the duo have been nominated in these awards, which are organised by the Music to Power Foundation and Philharmonic Łódź.

The gala awards event and results will be announced on September 21st, 2024 at the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic building in Łódź, Poland.
